Producer Story

The Primavera Family lot brings together coffees from 10–15 producers in Guatemala’s Huehuetenango region, creating a coffee that is greater than the sum of its parts. Rather than separating every small lot into individual offerings, Primavera carefully selects and combines coffees that share a classic regional character, allowing producers to sell a larger portion of their harvest at quality-focused prices.

Primavera is a new import partner for us at Tinker, and their approach aligns closely with our values. With a focus on quality, equity, and sustainability, they believe that the future of specialty coffee starts with investing in producers and their communities. By working directly alongside farmers to improve quality and productivity, Primavera helps create long-term opportunities while maintaining full transparency and traceability back to the farm level.

The Process

This regional blend is composed of multiple small lots sourced from producers throughout Huehuetenango. Coffees scoring in the mid-80s were selected and blended to create a balanced representation of the region’s character while preserving the value of smaller-volume producer lots that might otherwise be difficult to offer on their own.

The result is a coffee that delivers consistency and approachability while supporting a sourcing model designed to benefit both producers and their communities. Every component of the blend remains traceable to the farm level, providing an uncommon degree of transparency for a regional lot.
