Barista - Tinker Gemini
As a Tinker Gemini barista, you'll be the cornerstone of our mobile coffee experiences, bringing exceptional beverages and service directly to our clients' most important gatherings. This dynamic role combines your passion for coffee craftsmanship with event management expertise, creating memorable experiences that extend well beyond the cup.
In this position, you'll orchestrate the entire mobile café experience from initial setup through seamless service to efficient breakdown. You'll craft specialty drinks that showcase both technical precision and artistic presentation. Roastery Production Assistant (Part-Time / Seasonal – Summer)
Tinker Coffee Co. is hiring a reliable, detail-oriented team member for a part-time (approx. 24 hrs/week) or seasonal summer role focused primarily on local delivery driving and order fulfillment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, staying active, and playing a key role in getting fresh coffee into the hands of our wholesale partners and customers.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a primary delivery driver, completing local routes to cafes, offices, and partners
- Load, organize, and stage orders for efficient delivery routes
- Ensure deliveries are accurate, on time, and handled with care
- Provide friendly, professional interactions at each delivery stop
- Assist with picking and packing orders for both delivery and shipment
- Help maintain an organized warehouse and prep space
- Support light production tasks (packaging, prep) when not on deliveries
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a cargo van
- Ability to lift and move up to 45 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail—especially with order accuracy
- Reliable morning availability (Mon, Tues, Thurs preferred)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while on delivery routes
Schedule & Role Details
- Part-time: ~24 hours per week
- Seasonal summer role available
- Weekday, daytime shifts (delivery routes typically start in the morning)

AM FOOD PREP - FIREHOUSE
Tinker Coffee is looking for a dedicated, early-rising food prep team member to join our Firehouse café. This role is the backbone of our morning food program, responsible for preparing breakfast and lunch items, keeping the kitchen running smoothly, and making sure our guests always have fresh, delicious options ready to go.
Schedule
Shift begins at 5:00 a.m. This is a morning role, so we're looking for someone who thrives in the early hours.
What We're Looking For
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently during the early morning hours
- Strong time management skills with the ability to keep a fast-paced kitchen on track
- Able to follow recipes consistently
- Basic knife skills
- Familiar with (or ready to learn) local health code requirements
- Strong communication skills, especially across teams
- Enjoys being part of a community-minded team
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and stocking breakfast sandwiches throughout the morning
- Prepping simple grab-and-go items
- Portioning meats and cheeses
- Preparing sauces
- Transitioning into lunch sandwich prep as the morning progresses
- Managing the cleanliness of the breakfast station
- Handling dishes during and after service
- Communicating with the front-of-house team about their needs for service
- Flagging prep needs to the team and leadership so nothing falls through the cracks
